Dr. Earn is interested in mathematical modelling as a means to explain - and assist with the control of - infectious disease transmission. Current modelling challenges include incorporating human decision-making with respect to prophylactics such as vaccines, and adherence to treatments such as antimicrobial chemotherapies.
